Plot summary
Catherine and her husband are living in a big house in the suburbs of Lyon and do not have children. Catherine suffers from a mental disorder for which there is no treatment, and lives in her own world, a world she created and for which she has no choice but to live in.
The couple must suffer the consequences of a fate they never wanted.
The author's note
This film was meant to address how people deal with similar situations or worse ones, for example, when someone gets sick after many healthy and beautiful years. How would we react? Would we be strong enough? Would we find the courage to deal with this situation? How far would be willing to go?
As long as we are perfectly healthy, we never have to ask ourselves that kind of question. However, we should never forget that for each of us, everything can fall apart in just one day.
